Managing Tremor

 Better Tremor Management
     through Better Tremor Measurement

How can I take accurate tremor measurements in my office without expensive equipment?

Use the Tremorometer® System.

The TremorScope Sensor provides precision acceleration readings to a PC through the USB port and the TremTest module processes the readings to calculate tremor statistics.

The basic system provides tremor measurement, interpretation aids and report output.

Several features have been added based on doctor’s suggestions.

JPG Capture saves graphs as JPG files and View JPG displays one or two JPG files.  JPG files may be imported into your MS Word and other applications.

Replay lets you test patients at one time and replay the readings later for analysis and reporting.

TremReport® is an optional module available for generating a range of reports including insurance claims complete with tables and graphs.

TremTest

TremTest supports the requirements of the AMA
CPT 0199T Code:

  • Measure:  Acceleration readings are accurately
captured and used to calculate tremor statistics
  • Interpret:  Tremor statistics, graphs and tables are
provided as aids to understanding tremor
  • Report:  Tremor reports are generated from the data

Measurement is provided by timed procedures that test four
types of tremor -- action, resting, loaded and intention -- in one minute.  Testing is automatic and anyone can run them by following the on-screen instructions.  Readings are saved for analysis.TT View JPG Tab

Interpretation is supported by  tremor statistics that are calculated from the acceleration readings and displayed.

Graphs showing acceleration readings, frequency distributions and relationships between tests make tremor easier to understand.

Patients may be shown how their tremor is changing over treatment and time -- not just as “mild”, “moderate” or “severe” subjective ratings, but as documented changes in their tremor statistics and in graphic views.

Reports that contain tremor statistics and manually enterednotes are created and sent directly to printers or saved on disk for later use.
